Dora was born in Athens Greece and studied business administration.
For many years she worked in administrative posts in various companies
and tourism business.
When she was young she begun a research on spiritual issues and she
has studied Eastern philosophies such as Hinduism and Buddhism.
Several times she has visited spiritual places and ashrams in India.
She has been trained in various alternative methods, such as positive
thinking and visualization, energy healing, self-analysis, regressions,
meditation, hatha and raja yoga, in various schools. She has been in
charge of volunteers groups serving pedagogical programs in orphanage,
coordinator in self-analysis groups, gave many hours of regression
sessions to several people and she has applied various methods in order
to help others in their spiritual development.
She practices Reiki the last years as it is a spiritual energy healing method
that brings about beneficial results on body and mind, happiness in life
and spreads light on earth. Dora decided to teach Reiki in order to reach
more people and benefit them.
She received Usui Reiki Master/Teacher training by known teachers in
Europe and Canada where she received Karuna Reiki Master training with
registration to the International Center for Reiki Training. She also
received training for Lightarian Reiki Master, Lightarian Rays Teacher,
Lightarian AngelLinks Facilitator and she is registered with the Lightarian
Institute for Global Human Transformation. She is also the Lightarian
Licensee for Greece and for Greek language all over the world.
On her personal spiritual path, she practices Tibetan Buddhism Karma
Kagyu. She was fortunate to receive initiations and teachings from
H.H. Karmapa Thaye Dorje who gave her the auspicious name, Karma
Tsering Wangmo (Powerful Woman of Long Life).
Dora teaches western Usui Reiki enriched with Japanese techniques, in
Greek and English. She offers Karuna Reiki® classes with registration to
the International Center for Reiki Training and Lightarian™ modalities with
registration to the Lightarian Institute for Global Human Transformation.
Dora Apostolopoulou is the President of the Reiki Association Greece.
